What do you do about MRSA when you have no insurance? My husband got hurt at work in June 05 and he had ankle surgery. Alot of the people we have talked to said that is most likely how he got it. Workers comp will not pay for a bone scan or blood cultures. What do we do? He was the first to get the boils and he got them a week after surgery. His job dropped his health insurance when he got hurt. WHAT CAN WE DO???

G0 to the welfare office. You might not be able to grt welfare but most states have other programs. They could atleast point you in the right direction. Good luck & God Bless.

I have no health insurance either. Looking at a big huge wallet ouch too. Check into the hospital where your husband was, and see if they have some typpe of assistance programs to help pay bills. All of them in my area do and it is a big relief to knw. You have to jump thru a few rather what I feel are degrading hoops, but I guess if it helps you do what you have too.

For those of you who are dealing with high cost of medications,
because of MRSA or anything else but can't afford it, if you live in
the United States, I suggest that you do an internet search for "Good
Rx", this could/should help lowering your expenses.

Even people with health insurance could potentially save some money
with their membership.

Just look into it and make your own decision. But this might be what
you've been looking for.

If you could clear up a MRSA infection at home for a few dollars, why would you want to go to a hospital and spend thousands of dollars? And yes, that has been done by a lot of people. People may ridicule old-fashioned herbal folk remedies but some of the still work, even when antibiotics don't due to antibiotic resistance.

To find out exactly how and why they work, read my garlic and garlic water posts in this forum to gain an understanding that can change people's lives. Learn why only natural (non-irradiated)garlic works and how to use it effectively.

Good luck to you.
