First of all, I would like to thank Bob and other contributers for
such a great forum which is very helpful.
In December 2017, when I was trimming my beard I found a tiny
patch in my chin area. Starting from February of 2018 the patch
kept growing bigger. Thus I had to cut my all beard in May. I
visited doctor and they took samples from my nose and throat. I
have been diagnosed with Staph and streptococcus in my throat and
in my nose. That's what caused the Alopecia Barbae(alopecia in
beard). Doctor prescribed me Augmentine 850 mg to take for one
week and topical steroid Locoid Crelo. After finishing it I went
for testing and the bacteria was still in my throat but from my
nose it has gone. Then doctor prescribed me another antibiotic,
Sumetrolim for 10 days. After 10 days I waited one week for
better results and went for testing but once again results proved
positive. I hadstaph in my thoat. And doctor told me keep using
topical steroid and the hair will grow back and didn't do anything
else, by just saying come back in 3 months. Instead of the black
hair I have very thin (peach fuz) white hairs. However I also can
see some thin black hairs coming back. The affected area doesnt
itch or boil or anything. However on my cheek another spot starts
to lose hair.
I would like to use garlic for this but need some advice. Shall I
apply crushed raw garlic on my beard where the hair fell or shall
I gargle with Garlic water or shall I do both?
Today i crushed two cloves of garlic set it for 10 minutes then
added to my mug and put some warm water on it. After two minutes
did gargling with that water. In the end I chewed and ate that
crushed garlic which was in the mug.
Could you please advice which is the best way to deal in my case.
Thank you in advance.
Wanna grow my beard back soon :)
