Some interesting info on Phage Therapy. Maybe it will be easily available soon...

And this story of a life saved:

Trish -

Phage therapy certainly presents opportunities but it has its challenges and limitations, too. For example, there are trillions of different kinds of phages and each one only kills one kind of bacteria so one would have to find out exactly what kinds of bacteria one had and also get the phages for each kind of bacteria in a custom soup of phages that will work for only one person's diseases. Sounds expensive to me and it is still years away from approval and availability. Also, some phages can interact with things in the body to produce toxins. Obviously, it has a long way to go and will be expensive and slow acting when it does get here.

Garlic, on the other hand, kills all kinds of bacteria, is here now and cheap and can be used in the privacy of one's own home and improvement can be seen overnight and it just keeps getting better.

It is obvious that the antibiotic apocalypse is going to cause more problems than most of us even think possible and it will change how most things are done in the mainstream medical world. Caesarian sections, elective and plastic surgery and transplants may all become history as the risks will become too high.

Lots of people can grow their own garlic at home. Life is good for those who are prepared.

As far as the story on Tom Patterson's nine month hospitalization and special approval for phage therapy, I can imagine the cost of it all. If he had known about garlic water therapy, it could have been done in a few weeks at most and none of his other problems would have developed. It would have cost less than $50.

Garlic water therapy is too cheap and as a result, it will never be approved by the FDA. People just have to learn about it on their own and do it at home and get on about their lives, free from the additional medical debt and lingering disability.

Once you learn exactly how and why garlic water works, you just don't want to waste money on expensive things that no longer work but still have terrible side-effects. It's something people have to take it upon themselves to learn all they can about their alternatives and make better educated decisions regarding their healthcare. Ultimately, each of us is responsible for our own decisions.

MRSA destroys you completely. It is unbelievable what a long term battle with severe MRSA can do to your body physically and mentally.

Simply put .. you are guaranteed if you survive -- to never be the same again ever and you just have to accept this. I hear people complaining about side affects constantly, but the truth is if you survive severe MRSA, you are one of the lucky ones reguardless of how bad your new life is. MRSA is a killer beyond what the media or the government or even what most doctors will acknowledge. I have battled it for 6 1/2 years, and it has virtually completely destroyed my life almost in a way like NOTHING else could of. I have a very rare and aggressive strain, a ca-mrsa PVL producing, enhanced cell wall, near complete antibiotic resistance even to daptomycin it is unstoppable. I live off of prayer, monolauren, silver 30ppm and super high doses of garlic and turmeric. I have infections covering my entire body but I maintain them and think of dying daily. Yo have to fight and make friends for support like on this website. Trust me when I tell you, health care in the U.S. does NOT have the answer. If you want to survive you have to dedicate your life to a qwest for knowledge and become your own doctor. Phage therapy and gene editing may be the answer in the near future so if you have severe MRSA try and hold on. within the next 3-5 yrs we will see some advances in treatment I truly feel. other than that if you are rich TAKE Sivextro. It is as close to a cure as you will find and it can be taken orally at home.
but no insurance that I know of will cover it and it is expensive nearing 1k per pill. Hardly anyone knows of this drug, if you can afford it please remember and email me, I could use a friend.

I don't know what to say except that I can't dispute anything you say when it comes to mainstream medicine. If they have been treating it very expensively for six and a half years and have failed to cure it yet, it may be time to consider another approach.

Antibiotic resistance is laying waste to Big Med's carefully laid plans and it is typified by MRSA. Big Pharma's antibiotics are going away because they don't work very well anymore, if at all. They cost just as much and have the same horrid side-effects but just don't work very well anymore and it is only going to get worse.

Garlic water baths get allicin in the bloodstream and it kills every bacterium it encounters, no matter how resistant they are to commercial pharmaceutical antibiotics because it works in a more direct way.

You can take all the high doses of garlic you want orally and it just won't stop a raging MRSA infection and it hasn't stopped yours yet, and won't because it becomes fat-soluble in digestion and it winds up in the lymphatic system and never gets into the bloodstream. A series of daily baths in natural (non-irradiated) garlic will. That has been shown by people on this website many times. Some people started off with two baths a day but cut back to one upon feeling better. In summary, they report their MRSA going away but coming back less strong than before. This would go on a few times and eventually, their MRSA just stopped coming back and they got back to their normal lives. They don't post here anymore because they don't have MRSA anymore. Some people used irradiated garlic and did not get the same favorable results.

If you're curious why garlic works, read all my posts on garlic and garlic water and exactly how and why it works and you will come to understand why garlic water baths kills MRSA bacteria when antibiotics can't - it works more directly and doesn't need to bond with any receptor. It just kills all bacteria it comes into contact with.

No, this isn't modern medicine, it is old-fashioned herbal folk remedies that we have come to understand exactly how and why they work. I don't give anyone any medical advice, all I do is discuss the properties of natural garlic and how those properties change depending on how it is processed and used and let people and their doctors decide what, if anything, to do.
